You can also find me designing logos and graphics for my brother's surfboard company Hemingway Boardworks. If you've seen a pic in my portfolio that you'd like to buy as a print, canvas, etc., please let me know via the contact form or contact me through IG. No be shy. I'm in the process of working on new designs so please check back.

Kaua'i is nicknamed the Garden Island and is the oldest of the main Hawaiian islands. I was born and raised here and treasure the beauty of this place. I'm so fortunate to call this island my home.
Representing Kaua'i is the mokihana (Melicope anisata) which is found only on Kaua'i. The mokihana is a relative of the citrus family and is well known for its sweet fragrance reminiscent of anise. Consider yourself very lucky and special if you receive a mokihana lei. The lei maker had to hunt and gather mokihana high up in the rainforests of Koke'e just for you.
The color representing the island is poni or purple. Kaua'i is also home to one of the the rainiest spots on earth, Mount Wai'ale'ale, which rains year round. In 2018 it was reported that Wai'ale'ale received a whopping 519 inches of rain! Wai'ale'ale in the Hawaiian language means rippling water.
